boldly going... into a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

I didn't expect too much going into this one, maybe just a little filling in of some gaps in Seven's back story, but Holy crap! this was such a great story! independent of anything that happened in Voyager or Picard. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It cracks open a whole new vein in the mine of Trek lore, bringing some of those Star Wars cantina bad guy vibes. The Fenris Rangers are such a cool group, and this story provides such a great jumping off point to explore them more. I really hope we get more of them in any kind of media. So awesome. highly recommend this one.

Terrible story

I thought I was going to hear a Star Trek story and this was not . It was far too much of an insight into Seven’s personal life which I didn’t believe in the first place. I stopped listening half way through and wish I could get my money back. What a waste of time. This was a terrible book and I don’t recommend it for any serious Star Trek fan.
