There are approximately 3,712 ways for a guy to look stupid during pregnancy-this book's here to help you avoid all (most) of them. And here's your first hint: Focus on what you can be doing for her rather than what's happening to her. She's pregnant. She knows that. You know that. And her one 152 baby books tell her exactly what she can expect. Your job is to learn what you can do between the stick turning blue and the drive to the delivery room to make the next nine months go as smoothly as possible.

Written by someone who’s only qualification is having been a dad for 3 months.
I absolutely love the premise of the book, a guide for expecting fathers, and leading up to the birth of my child I read/ listened to several. Unfortunately this one was my least favourite. I found there was very little actual content and it was mostly anecdotal fluff. The writing itself wasn’t bad (which makes sense since he has an English degree) but the content felt un-researched. It felt like the author decided to write this book with no real plan or qualification to do so other than having a 3 month old. Unfortunately I did not gain much helpful information from this book that wasn’t covered in much more detail with evidence in other popular expecting dad books.
If you are wanting to listen to a casual high level pregnancy guide you may enjoy this book, but for more in depth content there are other books that I felt did a much better job.
