Not my usual style, but very enjoyable!
I'm not usually a fan of grim dark stories or audio books but I really enjoyed this one. The narration is very well done and the story is well written. Looking forward to the next one!

This book is a banger.
The story was thrilling and tragic. The characters so real. The performance was excellent, you don't have to learn the character names if you don't want because the voices are so distinct you can easily tell each of them apart. I finished it in two days, couldn't stop listening.

Fantastic storytelling and story
I enjoyed how we were able to connect with both sides that were fighting in the war. I wasn't sure who I wanted to win as the characters of both sides were charming. There were moments when I cried and laughed at the same time because of the quirky words and sentences or how a character sounded. Magic was brought into this world as if it was just like electricity, no need to really explain a lot about it as it just was, which was cool. I could say so much more, but mostly if you are reading the reviews I highly recommend this book the voice acting is awesome as well as the words!
