About this listen

Sassy-mouthed Stevie Devore has always had a crush on the local fire chief. Gorgeous, silver fox Evan Paige is way out of Stevie's league, however, not to mention the chief has always been a ladies' man, but when Stevie turns 21, he decides he's tired of only daydreaming about Evan. He wants a real taste of that sugar daddy, even if it means turning the flirt factor up a notch or 10 to make it happen. This story has pee-in-your-pants humor, peel-the-paint-off-the-walls steam, and a smidgie-poo of hand-on-chest swooning.

LOVE IT!

I loved the story. I love all Lucy Lennox Stories I have the Forever Wilde Series and Made Marian Series. The way she enter twined stories is great. I love all the characters in her novels. Now about 'FLIRT' It is great. Love the 20/40 relationship. It is funny and sometime serious. A good mix of both. Michael Dean is a good narrator.. He helps to bring out the characters with lots of feeling. I would recommend any and all MM novels by Lucy Lennox.

Love Truly Has No Age

In Flirt, Lucy Lennox proves that love has no age when it comes to two consenting adults. Stevie Devore and Evan Paige were destined to fall head over heels for each other. Our lovable town flirt has been misjudged, and our sexy silver fox has been misunderstood. These two finally decide they've had enough of waiting, and will make it happen. When Stevie's life starts to crumble around him, he's got his sexy older man to help pick up the pieces.

Stevie Devore is a complex, lovable, flamboyant man who is unapologetically himself. He's a flirt with everyone in town, but around Evan Paige he's just a hot mess. He stumbles and mumbles and rambles and is just adorably Stevie. We get to see him and all his antics, sarcasm and sass but I think what shines through is his devotion to family, kindness to animals and a big, huge heart. Lucy created a wonderful creature in Stevie Devore. She showed up the layers in people, and how it just takes the right person to see it.

Evan Paige, the sexy older man and small town Fire Chief, is honourable, kind and intelligent. He is a man who knows what he wants, and how to get it. Lucy made a loving, sensitive man who wants to take care of and nurture the right person. He's definitely not going to beat around the bush about what he feels, and i think thats a wonderful trait that Lucy depicted, and exactly the kind of thing Stevie needs in his life.

The banter between the two is hilarious, especially as Evan enjoys bugging Stevie so much.

As usual, the world Lucy has created in Hobie, Texas never has a dull moment and during all the craziness that happens between Charlie and Hudson, these two are quickly falling in love. I enjoy how Lucy can make two stories share the same timeline and not outshine one another in their stories. We got a glimpse of Stevie and Evan's story in Hudson's Luck, as well as getting little glimpses in Flirt about Hudson and Charlie. The characters of the series are all tied to one another through the different books and events.

Lucy has a way of creating wholesome love with some steamy and dirty scenes as the icing on the MM Romance cake. The feelings are seen throughout their interactions from moments between them in the bakery to intimate moments.

Lucy has a way of capturing the characters personalities in every way. Best example and my favourite line in the story was: "The man crawled on his hands and knees a-la-Patrick Swayze with that look. The 'I'm going to use your body as a penis hat' look." from Chapter Five.

Michael Dean was made for Stevie's role. He embodies the sassy and flirty tones in his speech perfectly. The deep rumble and gravely voice he created in Evan was sexy and sensual. Michael brings an element to his narrations that listeners love, enthusiasm. You can hear how much he enjoys the stories he reads.

Over all, Flirt is another great short story addition to the Forever Wilde/Made Marian Series! Even as a much shorter story than the others of the series, the story does not leave us wanting. I wish I could give more than five stars, because this deserves a big TEN.

So funny

I know funny is not usually how I'd usually describe a romance but I was laughing uncontrollably the whole time.

I think you're either going to love it or hate it. Yes the kid is immature and yes I think just about every stereotype is thrown in when it comes to the character's also being very southern so u might find it a little touchy if you're country and can't take a joke and yes their relationship is unrealistic. It goes from nothing to all in in no time at all. But hey it's a book after all and if u can overlook the unrealistic aspects and he many crazy "hillbilly terms" than you will see this book for what it is, just plain fun.

Other than that their relationship is sweet and I like the 20/40 age difference. They balance each other out and I liked Stevies backstory with the family. So it is a good story it's just all the before mentioned stuff just make is super ridiculously funny.

Michael Pauley does an awesome job. I've always loved his work but he made this book so much more fun.
