Miniature Schnauzers are my favourite breed of dog. I’ve had two well into their teens. As a vet I see many more. They are magnificent. I have also hiked all my life. So this book brings together so much and then magnifies it all. I loved it and will likely listen to it again a few more times.

Tears and laughter as I read this book. I have a schnauzer and I also hike so I enjoyed this lovely book. But the main importance of this book was the love that Atticus and Tom shared. Also the trials that went through that made them stronger.
