About this listen
A whirlwind romance...and only the rest of their lives to get over it.
When Kate and Lauren meet in college it's love at first sight. Unfortunately, the fact that school is almost over is the least of their problems. A roller coaster of emotions and uncertainty causes Kate to leave town, and a heartbroken Lauren, behind.
Fifteen years later, with her 10-year-old daughter in tow, Kate returns to Renfrew hoping to recapture some of the inner peace she found during her college days. She's stunned when she discovers Lauren has purchased the local coffee shop and has her own 10-year-old surprise.
The two women attempt to avoid one another at all costs. But the incessant pull from the past - and the budding friendship between their daughters - has them on a collision course...to a second chance at love.
Contains mature themes.

cheating is cheating
I couldn't get through this book. 1) figuring out your sexuality is not an excuse to cheat and I am tired of lesfic acting like it does. Give a real reason the love interest or protagonist is cheating on their significant other if you want me to stay on board for the ride and before the cheating happens so I can sympathize (abuse, both parties say it's over and the love interest knows this, etc). 2) I found the bisexual woman who was figuring herself out a bit creepy. I'm bi spectrum myself, just to be clear it's not about that. No, I just did not like the way she pushed Kate's boundaries and acted jealous and possessive when she was the married one and they weren't even sleeping together yet. I gave this book a chance hoping there would be some good up front reason she cheated or at least show how conflicted she felt about the morality of what she was doing because a few lesfic novels have managed that, but nope... so I'm out.
