About this listen

Billionaire Dominic Baine stepped into Avery Ross' life when it was at its lowest. Obsessed with the beautiful, struggling artist, Nick was determined to have her. What began as a scorching seduction soon burned out of control, exploding into a white-hot passion neither of them could deny.

Yet Nick and Avery are two damaged people, both haunted by dark secrets with the power to destroy them. And for Nick, the ugly past that shaped him cannot compare to the unforgivable deception that drives Avery from his arms, from his life. Now the man accustomed to having everything he desires must find a way to redeem himself to the only woman he has ever loved.

Avery Ross has known heartbreak. She has known betrayal and loss but nothing like the pain that loving Dominic Baine has brought into her life. Reeling from the aftermath of his devastating revelation, instead of allowing despair to break her, she builds herself into something stronger - the fearless woman and gifted artist that Nick's passion has taught her to be. Yet her heart is in pieces, and despite everything she has, the one thing she needs is the man whose possessive desires and consuming love hold the power to either save them both or shatter her forever....

Contains mature themes.

Clued up series nicely

The voices of nicks inner narrative and Averie’s interactions could have been better. If you enjoyed the first two in the series this was still worth purchasing. It portrayed a raw emotion that was needed to conclude story and solidify this as a solid great read or listen.

Exquisite

The story is rich and captivating. Summer Morton has a soft and slow paste voice which make this story even more sensual. The down side is the chapters read by Alexander. The way he reads is very difficult to listen, he seems in an extrem rush to read thru the words. I had to back up multiple time to be able to follow the story the voice is much older and rough then what I had expected for Dominic. The part he tries to imitate Avery is extremely bad, it make her sounds like a old lady. very disappointing and make me having to put the book down for a fews hours I have the rush to skip those chapters. 😔

Great story not so great audio

I loved the first two books and the story of this book is great but I can't stand the male reader.
