Best in the series so far
This book gave so many emotions. A lot was revealed and the cliffhanger was the absolute worst but I loved it and can’t wait to continue the series! Already purchased the next book. Highly recommend.

An Addictive Read with an Unforgivable Cliffhanger

I just finished the immersive reading of Forced Bonds, and I have one thing to say—WTF. WT actual F was that ending?! I’m ugly crying my life out right now. Why do authors do this to us? WHY?! I knew going in that this was a six-book series and that a lot had to happen, but NOT THAT. That was the most brutal cliffhanger ever.
Now, back to the beginning. This book picks up right where the last one ended, wasting no time diving back into the chaos. Compared to the previous books, I felt the pacing was a bit slower, and the beginning was somewhat repetitive. But considering that each book was released months apart, it makes sense—readers need the refresher. However, since I’m binging the series back-to-back, I didn’t really need the reminders.
That being said, Forced Bonds still delivers everything I love about this series—angst, tension, action, and so many emotions. Oli’s growth in this book is subtle but so important. Watching her come into her own and fight for herself and her Bonds was incredibly satisfying. This book made me laugh, cry, and now… well, I’m just an empty shell. At least I don’t have to wait for the next book—I’m diving in ASAP.
Best quote: "I’ll see you in the next life, Bonded. Maybe I can love you right there." 😭
This series is incredibly addictive, and Forced Bonds is a must-read. But be warned—the cliffhanger will destroy you.

I think the male narrator might’ve chipped a tooth?
I am enjoying this series but I think Wen might have chipped a tooth because he’s sounding a bit lispy in this book. Book 3 and 5 he sounds more normal. The narrators are great otherwise!

Great story Great performance
highly recommend. i think the story and the performance is 100% worth it. I like to sorta just dip my toe into dark romance lol and this series does that

Intense book my favourite so far
I’m loving the spice in this book, helps to break up all the action scenes. I’m so glad they have all bonded but I’m sad it was done the way it was, this book ends on such a big cliffhanger I have to know what happens next I’m going to jump into the next book in a few minutes!

Got me hooked
This book reminded me of Shadow and Bone mixed with The Witch's Rebels but with a bit of spice. I didn't really like the main character at the start but the character development was there. I was definitely hooked on this series; listened to all 6 books in the span of a week. I enjoyed Knox's story the most.

Spent money on this series
I literally spent so much money getting extra credits to own this series and it’s so worth it. Super addictive and you already know the pattern with J Bree… cliffhangers. I love the tease with Nox’s character and cannot wait to read the next one which is mostly about him. Such a binge-worthy series. Too bad at the time of this review the last book isn’t available on Audible yet. I hope they complete it soon so I can finish the series. I also love the bonds and the fury and hell that’s unleashed. Love how Oli is unrestrained and uses her strong abilities to defend her friends and lovers. Definitely a good read.

I have a bone to pick!
Why must the author leave us on a cliffhanger!? Thankfully, the next book is already out because I’d be furious ;) I enjoyed all the books so far and this one is no different. There’s something to be said about the narration as well. She’s basically two ppl and switches tone in a flawless way letting us know who’s speaking. Well done!
