À propos de cet audio
From Joe Haldeman, the all-time master of military science fiction, comes the new novel set in the universe of his Hugo and Nebula Award-winning classic The Forever War. An epic story about war, peace, and the price of freedom, Forever Free reintroduces readers to William Mandella--who has been living peacefully on the planet called Middle Finger, a refuge for humans who refuse to become part of the group mind known as Man. But after decades of this peace, Mandella and others are tired of living like zoo animals. So they steal a starship--and embark upon a voyage that will forever change their understanding of the universe...and themselves.©1999 Joe Haldeman (P)2016 Recorded Books Aventure Fiction Fiction de genre Génie génétique Militaire Science-fiction Fantastique Guerre

I don't want to spoil the plot for people. I found it slow and boring early on. It picked up in the middle and I hoped it would finish strong. Personally, I found the ending was not up to his ability. I don't know, maybe he just ran out of steam on the story. If you loved the series, probably worth a listen. I personally did not like the narrator, too much emphasise, interfered with the story in my view. I preferred the previous narrator.

weak conclusion to great series

this just isn't listenable. the perform seems to think each sentence is a movie trailer. I cannot focus on the story at all.

As a sequel to the excellent Forever War this story falls fall short of the mark.
