About this listen
After three years, Snow and Jude’s relationship is still passionate and strong. They’re getting ready for a romantic vacation at home, when Jude receives a horrifying call no one wants to receive. His youngest brother was found barely clinging to life. While Jude’s family is rallying around Jordan, Jude is determined to find out what happened to him.
Snow and Jude follow the clues, investigating a side of Jordan’s life none of them knew about...and is far darker than any would have believed possible. They get pulled deeper into the seedy side of life, while echoes from a past Snow thought he walked away from return to offer an unexpected insight into the cause of Jordan’s injuries.
But someone else has noticed their involvement and is furious, putting them both in danger. The risk is high but so is Jude’s determination to find the truth - though the knowledge could very well fracture his heart.
Trigger warning: This book has a scene that some might find triggering, but the triggers are also spoilers to the plot, so they can be found at the front of the book.

Book 6 of a really remarkable series!
I am really a huge fan of the "Unbreakable Bonds" series. This is book #6 out of 8. We start off on page 1 getting introduced to Lucas & Andrei's newborn - then we never see them again until Chapter 12, LOL. They do come back in a big way and we see them settling into fatherhood while still contributing to the "brotherhood." This story has Snow & Jude as the MC's. They finally get a week of vacation simultaneously, but their "staycation" quickly dissolves when we get to the suspense - turns out Jude's younger brother Jordan has a secret life and Jordan has been found roughed-up, shot, and left for dead in a vacant lot. So Snow & Jude team up with Noah & Rowe and decide to solve the mystery together rather than getting the cops involved - for reasons that will unravel to you as you read along. Jordan clings to life in a coma while the good guys chase down the bad guys - who turn out to be loosely allied to old nemesis Jagger. Great plot development as usual from these authors, and Kenneth Obi gives his usual stellar narration - so awesome to have him narrating this series from start to finish. Only two more books left now and it's going to be hard for me to let go of these guys after the last 2 books!
