the opening left me quite confused about the world and characters, the writing doesn't feel as concise as it coughs be. the steamy scenes were great! but as I waited for the group scene it didn't come... maybe in the next book

This got me right from the start. I could not stop listening. Both narrators were amazing, which is hard to find. I finished this in one day. Please make this a series! Loved it!!!

Voice acting was great. Little bits of humour throughout was a lovely touch and I actually laughed out loud a few times.

Lucas changes his voice for different characters but there were a couple times I thought someone was talking and the narration revealed a different character. However, he has a rather sultry voice that didn’t make me care.

Vanessa has such a great voice that she even lulled me to sleep a couple times while listening before bed. The raspiness of her voice gives the main character that depth of dangerous but sexy.

Some people complain about the cussing and that it was unnecessary but I think it fits the characters rather well. If you’re offended by some cussing in a reverse harem romance book, maybe this isn’t for you. I feel its welcome since the book is a little on the darker side.

Overall, I’m looking forward to more books voiced by Vanessa and/or Lucas, as well as written by Albany Walker.

Great writing and narration has me wanting more…
