About this listen
Andrew didn’t realize he might be autistic until his girlfriend, Michelle, approached him about it months into their relationship. No amount of life experience could’ve prepared Michelle for the confusion she felt while dating Andrew, as he was unlike any man she had ever dated before. The thought never dawned on her that she could fall deeply in love with a man who was autistic or that he might be unaware of this, even into his 30s.
Whenever they share their story, they are asked the same three questions:
How did you figure out Andrew was autistic?
How did you approach him about it?
How did you get a diagnosis?
These are all fair questions and have interesting and often comedic answers. In this compelling book, Michelle and Andrew answer these questions and share much more.
You will follow along as their FRIENDSHIP unexpectedly blossoms into a relationship. You will see LOVE flourish among ridiculous twists and turns. They bring you along for the AUTISM diagnosis that allowed them to grow a deeper understanding of each other.
Andrew’s contributions to this book are invaluable as they give insight as to what life is like to be him. Michelle’s humor and authenticity are both unexpected and refreshing.
Come along on this outrageous journey of friendship turned to love on the spectrum.

So relatable- it felt like someone was finally putting into words my feelings
I have read many books on autism, relationships etc. Michelle and Andrew have written an incredible book which truly resonates with the experience of what it feels like to try and understand someone with high functioning autism. There were funny stories, relatable situations and provided some great insight. I am eagerly awaiting the next books! PS my hubby also loved it

An excellent listen!
It’s been a while since I’ve actually been sad when I’ve finished a book & wanted more right away. This audiobook was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it & look forward to the next in the series.

Such a great listen!
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Listening to Michelle and Andrew talk about their struggles, patience, and understanding for each other was refreshing, insightful, and inspiring. I have ADHD, and I have struggled with some of the difficulties that Andrew struggles with. Partners of my past had become quite frustrated with certain things I do and the way that I act in certain situations and I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to change those things. Listening to your book was inspiring and it definitely taught me a lot about myself and helped me have more compassion for who I am. Thank you for writing this book, and I look forward to the next one!

Amazing book!
Full of HONESTY and LAUGHTER, this book was so enjoyable that I couldn’t wait to continue listening to Michelle’s and Andrews unique love story to unfold! It’s true that our culture has it backwards when it comes to love stories and romance. A beautiful friendship unfolding into a beautiful and genuine love story, now that is worth writing about and sharing with the world!

Engaging and informative
An almost comedic but great representation of how ASD can present in “real life”. A great love story of how people can come together if you put the work in. Very admirable and inspiring.

Very entertaining
I am Michelle’s sister and although I’ve heard some of these stories before, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s very eye opening and educational. The human mind is fascinating. I highly recommend this sweet love story that is NOT like any typical romance.
