About this listen

Are we alone? It was only a matter of time before the truth was revealed....

Commander David Bryce is scheduled to lead a routine re-supply run for the Orbital Development Group (ORB) to the fledgling colony on Mars. Without warning, he’s taken away by government agents and told the mission parameters have changed.

They’ve discovered something. And it’s drifting closer to Earth.

Atlas Donovan tirelessly hunts for an artifact, and tracks the piece to Lake Como, Italy. After the recent news from ORB, Atlas is more drawn to the trail than ever. He continues his search, determined to uncover the significance of the strange markings, and more importantly, where the artifacts hail from.

As both Atlas and David draw near to their objectives, they realize a secret organization is working against them; a clandestine force with so much influence, they seem impossible to oppose.

Are we alone?

No, and they’ve been here before....

Great performance, ok story

I have never been a fan of the secret organization who keeps the truth from humanity and somehow knows what is best for everyone covering up all saigned of alien activity, (I guess you could call this the "You can't handle the truth" mentality) That's the only reason I gave this book a 3 stars. By the end I just kept thinking "If humanity knew about this stuff then you wouldn't be stuck in this predicament."

But if you like secret organizations with mysterious leaders and unknown ajendas where you don't know if they are the good guys or the bad guys then this book is for you!

Worth the listen

It was pretty good but it’s just another take of the alien invasion trope. All in all the writing was good, the narration is quite good, I quite enjoy Ray Porter! It does look like the next book is going to improve on an already good story🤞

Even Ray Porter couldn't save this dud

I kept hoping it would get better.
It switches to one characters story where barely anything happenings (went into a bar for a drink where someone said, I know what you are looking for), then switches back to the second set of characters where one thing happens, and back. No suspense. Just plain boring....
