Narration not as bad as other reviews say
Maybe other reviewers have never heard the author speak before, but that’s how he talks. A few words here and there are over annunciated, but he’s an author not a professional narrator, and it’s not nearly as robotic as others have said. You sink into it after a while, if you let yourself let go of that hangup. Thoroughly enjoyed this version

Lots of great insights
For anyone who wants to bring. Meditation into their lives, this is a great tool. Been meditating for about a decade and I still picked up some great pointers. Always learning, shaping and readjusting. Highly recommend. Great insights. Listen to it in sections and think about what is being said. Narration is a bit dry and boring with little pitch or tone. Kinda the same throughout which could get a little sleepy. Listening to it in sections is the way to go. Also, constantly plugging the meditation clinic.

I have lived for 6 years with serious illness, pain, and stress
‘s Mindfulness Stress Reduction Program is the one thing that has helped me cope with my chronic pain, isolation medical abandonment as it is clear my conditions will never abate. Jon Kabat-Zinn says it best “as long as you’re breathing you are alive. The Full Catastrophe happens but his teachings tell me this is a time to grow in life learning acceptance through the practice of living life in the moment to the fullest. I can accept myself in unbearable pain now with his meditations; ie. the body scan, loving kindness, lifescape, etc. I don’t run from what is destroying my body but have learned to embrace everything occurring in a powerful way living awake in the words he teaches. There’s no mantra. No distraction from whatever you are living with. Kabat-Zinn teaches an amazing coping skill for all aspects of life. Accepting the way things are.
