About this listen
It's been almost a year since the magical apocalypse closed off the city of Manchester from the rest of the world. The vampires, werewolves and humans within the city all now live together in relative harmony...but trouble is brewing on the horizon. Supplies are starting to run out and, despite their best efforts to grow crops and create a sustainable future, everyone knows that it will be an uphill battle. Still, the magic swirling in the city air is an incredible bonus. Charley, the most magical of them all, is determined to do whatever she can to help out her new community and with Monroe by her side, she's confident that things will turn out alright. But when someone from beyond Manchester's walls makes contact, what happens next will be anyone's guess.

Each book reinforces a central theme.
Rarely do you find three different books that blend so well together. It was almost as if the Author had continued writing and separated her creation into three issues. Wonderfully done by the Author and excellent narration. Couldn’t ask for more. I’ll be looking for more books by the Author.

It picked up in this book & ends well
Well I wasn’t sure after book two if I wanted to keep going because book two was just kinda boring to me. I’m happy to say book 3 was with it!
Book three had a more interesting storyline, with contact from the outside for the first time & then lies & deceit it kept my attention.
They have truly come together in the last year living & Working together to build their community.
When threatened to pull their community apart pinning friends against each other I’m glad they saw through it and pulled together in the end
