Lovely story. Sweet, heart wrenching and heart warming. Unfortunately I’m not a big fan of JL’s narration but I did love this story.

This book right here THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE…. Sigh. I cannot with how adorable Patrick and Aubrey are. I love when two people who should not have found each other fall in love. The reasons they resist are oh so heart breaking. This book broke my heart and put it back together in the most delicious way. I loved how sweet Patrick is. I love how sassy Aubrey is, even though that took some time to come out. I love how nosey their small town is. I love the ocean and star analogies. I loved the drama of it all. The rawness of these two falling in love despite it all.

And to think I almost didn’t read this book because I didn’t enjoy Joel Leslie’s narration. Boy did he change my mind. He embodied the characters and I really enjoyed his storytelling by the end. Also, I was blushing during the spicy scenes because he was really into making the spice sound realistic.
