Publisher's Summary

Seamus is facing life in prison without parole. While doing his time, he's given an option by the Department of Justice and the biggest virtual game maker around, Mindblown Entertainment. If he will help them test long-term immersion, he will get the chance to play the latest game from Mindblown - Alpha World. All he has to do is sign away his legal rights and sign an NDA.

He's the first gamer to be sentenced to life imprisonment in a virtual world. What could go wrong?

can't stand Peter's voice.

like the story but couldn't stand the narrators voice at first but after a few chapters he starts getting into the rolls and makes a better effort.

Good narrator, horrible story.

Another story for starved male geek that wish for an online/virtual harem (of women).

I am frankly mad because of this waste of time for listening to it. I did not see any warnings about it being/ featuring harem.

I listened until only 2 hours were left but couldn’t continue past that point. It got so bad it’s horrible! Rolling my eye at this stupidity is just not releasing enough of my contempt.
That MC or author doesn’t understand what polyamory is about, it’s just another terrible story featuring harem of women with a freaking maid that prostitute herself to a tavern select clients of necromencers and summoners.

I definitely do not recommend it.

starts off good then devolves smut

The first half of the book was wonderful the protagonist entering a world as a class that is looked down upon by most NPCs.
Yet by around the halfway point most of that wonder falls away. After that the story become about the main character doing it with or being lusted after by others.
