About this listen
Brace yourself for Gemina — the highly anticipated sequel to the book critics called “out-of-this-world awesome,” — featuring journal illustrations by best-selling author Marie Lu!
Moving to a space station at the edge of the galaxy was always going to be the death of Hanna's social life. Nobody said it might actually get her killed.
The sci-fi saga that began with the breakout best seller Illuminae continues onboard the Jump Station Heimdall, where two new characters will confront the next wave of the BeiTech assault.
Hanna is the station captain's pampered daughter, Nik the reluctant member of a notorious crime family. But while the pair are struggling with the realities of life aboard the galaxy's most boring space station, little do they know that Kady Grant and the Hypatia are headed right toward Heimdall, carrying news of the Kerenza invasion.
When an elite BeiTech strike team invades the station, Hanna and Nik are thrown together to defend their home. But alien predators are picking off the station residents one by one, and a malfunction in the station's wormhole means the space-time continuum might be ripped in two before dinner. Soon Hanna and Nik aren't just fighting for their own survival; the fate of everyone on the Hypatia - and possibly the known universe - is in their hands.
But relax. They've totally got this. They hope.
Once again told through a compelling dossier of emails, IMs, classified files, transcripts, and schematics, Gemina raises the stakes of the Illuminae Files, hurling listeners into an enthralling new story that will leave them breathless.
Narrated by Carla Corvo, MacLeod Andrews, Steve West, Erik Davies, Lisa Cordileone, and a full cast.
Praise for Illuminae

Fantastic space opera!
Fantastic follow up to Illuminae, and such an excellent story all on its own! This universe is fascinating, the story is so exciting, characters funny and smart. I have zero complaints about this book, and can't wait to start book 3.

Unexpected Plot Twist sent me ona awesome trip
This book was a slow burn for me. The book didn’t really pick up until about page 250. Once the book got interesting I found that it went by very fast because of the book layout. if you're afraid of missing out on all the beautiful artwork, its easy to listen and flip through the images when you can) I don't think I missed out on anything despite it being such a visual story; The production of the audiobook is the best I think I've ever heard. Nik definitely grew on me (but if it wasn't for Ella, I wouldn't have). But the plot twists and side plots BLEW my mind. Seriously. I felt, like, shocked and betrayed. God damn you, character I cannot name. Also. So many of the main characters did the "died then is revealed to be alive" that it's kinda funny at this point.I'm so curious to find out how this story is going to come to a close in the last book! All around, it was a really enjoyable book & I'm happy.
