Publisher's Summary

After focusing on topics ranging from teamwork and leadership to employee engagement and meetings New York Times best-selling author Patrick Lencioni has finally turned his attention toward his own craft—consulting and client service. Tapping into the simple but powerful model that his firm, The Table Group, has been built on, Lencioni presents what may be his most engaging, humorous audiobook yet.

Getting Naked tells the remarkable story of a management consultant who is trying desperately to merge two firms with very different approaches to serving clients. One relies on vulnerability and complete transparency; the other focuses on proving its competence and protecting its reputation for intellectual prowess. In the process of managing the merger, the consultant is forced to learn life-changing lessons that prove to be as relevant as they are painful.

As he does in his other audiobooks, Lencioni provides readers with concepts that are accessible and compelling. He explains the three fears that provoke service providers to unknowingly sabotage their ability to build trust and loyalty. And, as always, Lencioni provides a practical approach for overcoming those fears.

wonderful book...

I loved listening to this book and appreciated the way he taught the principal's through story....and the content about caring and giving was so relieving in this grabby era!

Changed the way I sell

I have recently been working on starting a social media consulting business focused on TikTok consultation and after listening to your book I was able to go into a meeting with a prospective client thinking only about how I could help them and not worried about how it was going to benefit me. I felt so much better in that meeting than I have in so many others in the past. Thank you for writing this book. It helps me see that I don't have to get involved in all the aspects of selling that I really dislike and I can just go in and do what I am passionate about and will be able to be way more successful and productive.

WOW

as a Dale Carnegie graduate one of the things I enjoy most in life is being coached. I have read so many coaching books, and this is by far the best one I've ever come across. The format in which it is written and read makes it so easily digestible. I do not work for a consulting firm and yet the principles will be easily applied into my sales game. this book is an absolute mind shift and I'm here for it!
