About this listen
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 (KJV)
When bad things happen, it is common to question where God is during those times. For Cindy Nichols, she wondered, where was God when a man nearly performed a Satanic ritual on her when she was ten years old? Where was God when she felt trapped in a marriage with an unfaithful man who cared little for her wellbeing? Where was God when suicidal thoughts drove her to seek help at a hospital, having to leave her children alone with an uncaring father?
Having lost faith in God and anyone around her, she found herself turning to God, asking Him to teach her the faith of Abraham and to help her heal emotionally and spiritually. Her prayer was answered as God revealed the ways He had always been and would always be with her.
God's Arm is Not Too Short is a collection of true stories revealing the very real and active presence God had in Cindy's life. Blossoming from a believer to a knower that God is real, her world was transformed. She weathered through her terrible marital storm and not only found the chance to continue her education and obtain her degree in psychology, but met the man who would become the love of her life. They have been happily married for thirty-five years. God protected her children during dire times when she could not be with them. Through the past and the present, through the good times and the bad, Cindy's stories prove God's arm is not too short to bless His children.
God not only told her husband twice to encourage her to write a book, but also that His arm is not too short. To God be all the glory! Cynthia was forced to quit school in her junior year. After a divorce and a emotional setbacks she went to a community college and received her GED (General Education Diploma) and Associates Degree in Psychology and Later went to a Christian college where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Family Studies.
