The Star Scavenger’s hunt for alien crystals leads them to the dangerous Martian underworld.

After the cataclysmic events on Manticore Four, Star Scavengers Hudson and Tory return to Earth to plan their next move. The alien superbeing known as Goliath has returned, and the only way to stop its murderous rampage is to find the crystals of power before it does.

After witnessing Goliath’s power firsthand, Hudson and his partners are left reeling. Then, with the Coalition of Earth Territories attempting to cover up the Manticore incident, a key ally resurfaces and offers his invaluable help.

But a long-standing, bitter rival threatens to derail Hudson and Tory’s plans.

Using their relic-hunting skills, Hudson and his team of Star Scavengers follow the trail of breadcrumbs to Tethys City, a distant metropolis run by the authoritarian New Martian Order. A crystal shard has been discovered, and Amelia Ash and the Children of Goliath death cult are gunning for it too.

The fight takes Hudson into the Martian Subdomain, a seedy underground province ruled by hedonism and a hunger for violent blood sports. The tournament’s top prize is a one of the ancient crystal shards that, if it fell into Goliath’s hands, would imbue the alien entity with the power to destroy cities.

Hudson and Tory must get to it first, but doing so forces them to take part in the violent games. Unfortunately, the Children of Goliath are competing too and, in this game, defeat means death.
