About this listen

A brand-new full-cast audiobook production of the classic collaboration from internationally best-selling authors Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett starring Rebecca Front as the Narrator, Michael Sheen as Aziraphale, and David Tennant as Crowley!

"Good Omens...is something like what would have happened if Thomas Pynchon, Tom Robbins and Don DeLillo had collaborated. Lots of literary inventiveness in the plotting and chunks of very good writing and characterization. It’s a wow. It would make one hell of a movie. Or a heavenly one. Take your pick." (Washington Post)

According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch (the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655, before she exploded), the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just before dinner.

So the armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis is rising, frogs are falling, tempers are flaring. Everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon - both of whom have lived amongst Earth's mortals since The Beginning and have grown rather fond of the lifestyle - are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture.

And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist....

Don’t miss Season 2 of the Prime original series!

Amazing listen

This version of Good Omens was an absolute joy to listen to! Having grown up with parents doing character voices, this was like re-experiencing that... but with more adult content I guess 😇😅

Big thanks to everyone involved in narrating and bringing the characters and story to life! will definitely be listening to this again probably multiple times.

A Perennial Favourite

I have loved this Pratchett/Gaiman book for decades, and have worn my paperback copy down to shredded corners and a cracked binding. When the book was dramatised and put on TV I loved every second of it. This audio book is the best of both worlds, with the original text so wonderfully delivered by some of the best actors out there. I particularly loved the rich portrayal of Witchfinder Sergeant Shadwell. I smiled all the way through this one. If you're a fan of the printed book, do not hesitate to get this audio version.

A Great listen on a long drive

I enjoyed this full cast production, I’m fairly new to the authors writing, but seem to be drawn to his works. This is a great story to listen to and enjoy listening especially because of the two stars in the lead (Michel Sheen, David Tennet)

An exceptional story

A wonderful story with a fantastic cast narration. Cannot go wrong with this version, would recommend it to those are familiar with Neil and Terry, as well as to those who are not.

So fun

Better than the show, of course, but because there's so much mire detail and hilarity.

Classic

A book worth reading over and over again. The performances were pitch perfect.
That said, I miss Terry Pratchett…

If you weren't already fond of the Anti-Christ...

What a lovely book. It wittily, humourously, and yet, compassionately exposes human nature as beautiful, full of potential, and downright stupid. Please read this book and then share it with any fundamentalist Christians you may know.
