Publisher's Summary
People who have read my books, particularly “The War of Art” and its cousins, have a vague idea of the odyssey of a particular solitary guy, wracked with guilt and riven by self-doubt, as he struggles toward his destiny as a writer. But they have only the scantiest conception of the particulars of that journey.
These particulars I’m hoping may be of use to others as they wrestle with their own version of that same odyssey.
So let me try to strip it down.
Let me tell the parts I normally leave out.

A must if Steve is one of your Mentors
After discovering Steven Pressfield 14 years ago and reading all but 2 of his books, and attending his (only?) workshop…I can say this is a culmination of his body of work.
It’s like your sitting beside him in the cab of his semi-truck, struggling through hard labour, and at his writing desk.
It is a memoir, not a “12 Principles” self-development book. Patiently enjoy the journey.
The lessons are embedded in the stories of trials, tribulations, and triumph for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.
Thank you, Steve

After buying all of his non fiction I can attest
This guy copy and pasted all of his old books and stories into a new patchwork of a book this is the laziest writer I’ve ever written and ironically his motto is “Do The Work” well YOU Do the Work Stephen Presfield of weighting a damn book we are not paying you for the same old copied and pasted texts. You are a lazy thief of a writer. I loved your first book but I will never buy another book from you again. I’d rather have a thinner book than have you steel from me by copy and pasting your shit!
