Publisher's Summary
How do you define yourself when others have already decided who you are?
Six years ago, when Camden Daniels came back from war without his younger brother, no one in the small town of Alba, Colorado, would forgive him - especially his father. He left, swearing never to return.
But a desperate message from his father brings it all back. The betrayal. The pain. And the need to go home again.
But home is where the one person he still loves is waiting. Willow. The one woman he can never have. Because there are secrets buried in Alba that are best left in the dark.
If only he could tell his heart to stay locked away when she whispers she's always loved him, and always will...

Great narations
I really enjoyed this story, the narrators did a great performance.
A war hero drops everything to help out his family even though he's hated in his small town. But he's not hated by the most important person for him which is hard for him to believe but makes for a beautiful little love story. I loved the main characters and enjoyed the family dynamics with each families "black sheep" and the brothers different values. I surprisingly enough did not see the ending coming which was a little of a cliché ending but I enjoyed it!

Hero comes home
The narrators were very good . Loved the story. The main characters used talking to one another, telling the truth about their feelings form the past and how town gossip and opinions could sway their future together.

Great Story
Narration was good. Story was a typical romance, but it was excellently written, and the characters were well thought out.
Would definitely recommend if your looking for some casual light listening

Well developed and not too trope-y
Lovely listen with decent character development and story. There were layers to the story and it covered a wide span of time which is always nice in a romance so it’s not a 4day fall in love and be ridiculous story. Independent lead female not being financially saved was also nice.

An excellent story
I absolutely loved this story. I did a tandem listen/read and the audio definitely added to the story. The narrators were great and the story was so good - emotional and heartbreaking and hopeful. Recommend
