Good for what it is.

It’s the cutesy version of what it is. Could be dark and suspenseful but no it’s very fluffy and sweet. So story is good, characters are good. The narrators make it even better. But same old story.

My favorite of the series

This book follows Ryker (the enforcer) and Calla (widow mom of 2 kids). While we do hear little tidbits of them throughout the first few books. This book can still be read as a standalone.

This was definitely one of my favorites in the series so far! I loved how sweet and caring Ryker was with the kids and the back and forth between him and Calla. I loved how possessive and obsessed Ryker was of Calla

I listened to the audiobook and the narrators still aren't my favorite, but I’m getting used to them. I just find I can sit and read for longer periods of time when I listen to the audio.

Excited to read about Sadie and Enzo next.
