Extremely well written story of a couple simply in love, but yet affected by the outside world issues they are both dealing. I loved Bristol and Grip who are very open to the world and understanding one another.

Ok. Buckle up.
This is not your usual romance. Not your usual smut.
This is extremely well written with ALL of the emotions evoked.
It gives incredible love, laughter, rage, sadness, and GREAT sex.

The inclusion of true art/music/poetry and a wonderful lens on the active racism and ways we (esp us white ppl) can help overcome, was riveting.

There were moments in book 2 that I thought I’d abandon. The frustration with them (her) not being honest and him with someone else + the way his family treated her upset me enough to want to quit… but I couldn’t get their story out of my mind.

The obsession with anal on his end was a little strange imo, but this is truly a wild love story. I gave 4 stars for performance as the switch from other characters lingered at times (Grip’s voice was not Grip’s voice!).

So, so glad there was a HEA… it didn’t look great at times!

Well worth the time investment. I’d listen to a follow up of their love story for sure!

This story is amazing.

it's life changing. I well never find a better romance.

The narrators are perfect choices and really bring this story to life.

Grip and Bristol have a Soul connection that wreacked you when they weren't together and put your heart back together when they were.

I really enjoyed Flow, and I thought this would be even better. But I thought this was too long, and I didn't like a lot of the decisions Bristol was making. Especially one at the end (if you know you know) without thinking of ANYTHING ELSE that could possibly be done. I do think these characters had some growth, and I will still read the last book. But this was just a little disappointing to me.

This was an interesting one.

This is beautiful and a very emotional story with strong and vulnerable characters. What the book made me feel will remain a long time in my heart.
