About this listen
One strong woman. Four sexy Guardians sworn to protect her. A raging hellfire that'll test their bond.
Within minutes, everything Eve Carter thought she knew about her life was eradicated by a volley of Hellfire. She's being called a Demon. It shouldn't be possible. No one has ever possessed both Demonic and Fae magic before. But the fury behind the power Eve unleashed says it's very real.
For as long as Eve can remember, she's been the hunter when it came to paranormal justice. But now she's the hunted. Cole, Noah, Jacob, and Tyler would do anything for their mate, but if they're going to survive this test, it'll take the strongest magic of all. Magic of the heart.
Contains mature themes.

The story is lacking but I love the spice
The story is lacking but I’m really enjoying their relationship and the spice. Her mates are all unique and they love each other completely. We found out who her daddy was and there was a little show down.

Embarrassingly terrible.
The performance is jarring. The plot is lacking in flow and proper organization. Overall, I wanted to enjoy this, but I can't get past the flaws. I was really hopeful and wanted to read something that had a different take on poly relationships. If you are looking for something similar, this isnt it!
This book reads like a really poorly scripted porn. Its entertaining in how truly awful this series is. I had a bit of hope after the first book. it was trying to be dark and gritty, and had a rather transparent plot twist but the first book is usually a warm up, right? The second book is all porn and very little plot. I am nearly finished the book, and still don't know the actual motivation behind the big bad conflict. There are a lot of VERY SERIOUS problems, but we have to be reminded of the VERY SERIOUS problem right before CONFLICT because I think the author has also forgotten of the VERY SERIOUS problems in an "oh yeah!" moment.
The relationship factor is pretty much forgotten until the 5some are having sex. There is very little building of the relationship and very little conflict to allow the characters to grow and change with each other. When conflict does happen, its completely thrown in your face.
If you want sex, this book has it in spades! However, the scenes are abrupt and don't flow naturally with the rest of the story.
So listen at your own risk.
