Publisher's Summary

Jim Dale's Grammy Award-winning performance of J.K. Rowling's iconic stories is a listening adventure for the whole family.

'There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways ... their magical prowess - their daring - their powers of deduction - and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'

Close your eyes and enter the magical world of Harry Potter. In these editions, Jim Dale's characterful narration is so entertaining, fun, and theatrical you can almost hear the crackle of the fire in the Gryffindor common room.

The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter - but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through - alive!

Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.

Harry Potter :) Gets dark at the end! ❤

Love Harry Potter. Different then the movies and from when I read all the books as a teenager. Off to listen to the Order of the Phoenix! I felt the voice could of been more animated and it did get more lively near the end. It's harry potter on audible though so I'm not complaining. We'll worth the credit !! Can't go wrong with Harry Potter:).

A lovely series with a lovely book!

I love all the creativity put into the tasks,
And the Bravery of the Champions
From divination to charmers Harry Potter is helped by his friends and that is special.
Some people are mean to Harry Potter but he ignores them and that takes skill.
It is always an excellent chapter coming up next in a minute
Thanks J.K.Rowing for writing such a wonderful and awesome book!

Narration is great.

Narrative parts of the book is fantastic however a lot of the character voices are terrible and overly whiny, especially the female ones.

Flawed, but Nostalgically Delightful

Having a lot of fun relistening to these for the first time since I was a kid. I won’t lie, while I loved it, this is the first time I’ve noticed audio issues in the series so far. A bit of bad editing in places with cut off words, some distortion/ fuzziness. But still very enjoyable🤗

I think this is the first time I’ve ever critically thought about JK’s writing as well. Particularly, the maze chapter. That Sphinx riddle was seriously lacking in quality. And then there are two oversized creatures as obstacles that require hitting the underbelly with a spell? A bit lacking in imagination.
