About this listen
In the city of Haven, no one is safe.
Hawk and Fisher do their best to enforce what law there is, but swords and battle-axes are sometimes no match for the supernatural. When an important politician dies behind a door locked from the inside, Captain Hawk and his wife and partner, Captain Isobel Fisher, must seek the truth amid suspects that include a sorcerer, a witch, the otherworldly creatures they can command and worse: the dead man’s political rivals.
Magic and corruption combine in a city where everything is for sale – except justice.
Performed by Terence Aselford, Danny Gavigan, Ren Kasey, Andy Clemence, David Coyne, Richard Rohan, Mort Shelby, Tim Getman, Scott McCormick, Yasmin Tuazon, Michael John Casey, Elizabeth Jernigan, Nanette Savard, Casey Platt, Colleen Delany.

Good entertainment
The pacing is excellent, story engaging and performances outstanding. It's not high literature but the writing is very good and the adaptation to Graphic Audio very well done. Going to listen to the series for sure.
If you enjoyed Dresden Files, Hawk and Fisher is kind of a couples approach to the magical investigator idea, except our protagonists don't use magic but investigate those who do.

Fun take on standard cop drama
This was the “Graphic Audio” version from Audible so while it’s still the book, it’s been tweaked slightly to form a full-cast audiodrama. An interesting, sword & sorcery take on the classic police procedural, Hawk & Fisher are a fun duo and the cast of characters was colourful. A solid mystery, too…although the ending felt a little rushed.
