Publisher's Summary
From a trans rights activist and athlete, an urgent guide that changes the conversation about gender identity.
Anti-transgender legislation is being introduced in state governments around the United States in record-breaking numbers. Trans people are under attack in sports, healthcare, school curriculum, bathrooms, bars, and nearly every walk of life. He/She/They compassionately addresses fundamental topics, from why being transgender is not a choice and why pronouns are important, to more complex issues including how gender-affirming healthcare can be lifesaving.
With a relatable narrative rooted in science, and history, Schuyler helps restore common sense and humanity to a discussion that continues to be divisively coopted and deceptively politicized. He/She/They is more than a book on allyship; it also speaks to trans folks directly, celebrating radical trans joy.

Indescribably Wonderful
I've been following Schuyler on Social Media for quite a few years now, so when he announced that his book was being released I was very excited. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. When a book has me tearing up within the Introduction, I knew I would love it - I also read it in two days. As a queer cis woman, there were elements of this that spoke deeply to me and helped me understand my fellow trans / LGBTQIA+ friends n chosen family even more. Thank you, Schuyler. You are a blessing to this world. Shine your light proudly! 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈

Great read!
This book is great for trans people and allies alike. It presents issues that trans folk face as a conversation, not like being spoken to. Sadly, I feel that the people this would benefit most (those that berate and belittle trans folk) won’t read it…but I think they should.

Best book about transness
This book is a must, for trans people and allies. It is very well written and well researched, the author is incredibly thorough. Schuyler’s voice is also very nice to listen to, I had to buy the physical version after I listened to the audiobook because it’s a must on my bookshelf and I want to be able to share it with friends and allies.
