Excellent book
This book is very through and thoughtful. I am sure it only touches on the actual experience of heaven and that we cannot really even imagine it, however, the attempt is inspiring and certainly well researched according to what the Bible teaches.

Healing
My Mother passed away a year ago and this book helped me and my family find healing. I have read it once and listened to it on audible a second time. I cannot express how much this book did for us. Thank you Randy Alcorn for this beautiful view of Heaven.

Wow! I would Highly recommend this book
Alcorn begins the books by stating that Western Christianity’s view of Heaven is pretty lax; he describes this phenomenon as “Christo-Platonism” meaning that one has a very bleak view of Heaven and does not look forward to eternity because it will be boring and a ‘what on earth will you do for forever?!’ kind of attitude. I must admit I fell into this category. I got interested in the subject after listening to Ted DekKer’s book “The Slumber of Christianity”, (similar subject, shorter in length—also highly recommend it!—in which Alcorn writes the forward. I was a bit hesitant at first about a book on a single, narrow (as was my initial thinking) topic being 13+ hours long - I thought I would be bored. Boy was I pleasantly surprised that this wasn’t the case! The theology of Heaven is broken down and explained in easy to understand terms without it being watered down. The chapters themselves were very enjoyable to listen to. I am happy to say my view of Heaven has completely changed; it is no longer bleak and grey, but is vibrant and colourful! Whereas before I was indifferent about spending eternity in Heaven with Christ, now I am looking forward to day when I can meet my Saviour face-to-face and learn from him!

Hreat perspective on Heaven
This book gives great insight into the realm of Heaven. It explains the bibical view and clarifies many misconceptions of Heaven. While I never believed we would sit around on clouds playing harps all day, many people do. This book gives the correct picture of eternal life in the New Heaven and New Earth.

Incredible!!
This book was recommended to me by a friend last year and for whatever reason, I had avoided reading it until now. I very much wish I had read it sooner. This book has changed my perspective and probably my life. The world looks different to me now, and I am grateful. Current events had me so troubled and anxious and this book has helped me look at it all in a different light. I feel lighter. The best is yet to come.
