David Weber, why did you not finish the story?
I rated this book story two stars because the book ended with the story unfinished and the author never wrote the next book. If you are okay be left with a unfinished story then go ahead. If this will bother you then STOP now.
Also, if you have read other David Weber books this one is the rough draft to his Safehold series. Most ideas for that series seem to have been first presented and hammered out with Heirs of Empire.
