About this listen
Damien’s new streaming career is in tatters.
With his play style now known to all and Aetherius’ older brother, Magnitude, gaining a stranglehold on high-level content, Damien struggles to maintain his relevance in the ever-changing world of Saga Online.
In order to regain his notoriety and fight back against Magnitude’s growing power, Damien must undertake a quest that is far beyond his level. If he succeeds, his occultist character will be changed forever.
Meanwhile Lillian has a mission of her own: to find a legendary sword that has the potential to finally bring Magnitude down.
One thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be hell.

hmm thought it would be better.
could have done with out the useless Atherius and Linnian non sense. Man, she just doesn't know what she wants.
Wow, Lillian is insufferable!! absolutley can't stand her.

Not great. Seems lazy.
The story is not very good. The main characters all become hate able and the author draws to many references from pop culture. It seems lazy, like they were on a deadline and needed to come up with something to fill gaps. Not sure if I’ll read the next one or not - leaning towards no, but if I run out of other things to read I might give it a try.

Returned It
Too cringe. I couldn't keep listening to it. I don't know if it gets better at some point but the whiny, annoying protagonist was bad enough. Then you add in the other annoying characters... It's terrible in comparison to the first book. Returned it before I wasted more time on it.

give me back my damn credit.
Imagine my excitement when I saw book 2 was finally out.
imagine my disappointment when I realize that its actually garbage.
imagine my annoyance at having to listen to a self important whiney little b**** the entire time...well I lied. at the current point in time I've only made it to about the 6hour mark in the book and im so tired of the female mc who seems to have taken over that im currently writing this review then returning the book for my credit.
the first book was a strong start. this one failed miserably.
