About this listen
A bespectacled bluestocking, a clueless rake, and a mad dash to Gretna Green
Miss Emily Goodnight - who cannot see a thing without her blasted spectacles - is raising the art of meddling to new heights. Why leave her future in the hands of fate when she's perfectly capable of managing it herself?
The Earl of Blakely, London's most unattainable bachelor, finds Miss Goodnight's schemes nearly as intriguing as the curves hidden beneath her frumpy gowns. Secure in his independence, he's focused on one thing only: evading his father's manipulating ways.
Hell's Belle indeed - What with all the cheating at parlor games, trysts in dark closets, and cases of mistaken identity, complications arise. Because fate has limits. And when it comes to love and the secrets of the past, there's only so much twisting one English Miss can get away with...
Contains mature themes.

Jaded Rogue
Delightful story of Miss Emily Goodnight, a young lady who can at times be too smart for her own good, and Marcus, the Earl of Blakely, who is a jaded rogue who's main goal in life is to evade his father's wishes to marry. He hasn't counted on Emily's schemings and manipulations though, and finds himself on the way to Gretna Green. Marcus is a bit hard to like in the beginning, but once you see the hurt underneath, he becomes quite endearing. Enjoyed the situations they got themselves into, and then out of. Can be read as a standalone, although other books in series also enjoyable. I "read" the audio version of this book and found Mary Sarah a good narrator, and easy to listen to.
