About this listen

The New World has been meddled with.

With the Skirmish over, Blair finds herself in the New World where things aren't as simple as they initially seem. The System has been meddled with, tainted to change the outcome of the planet's fate; introducing a new form of Apex predator. Heralds. The strongest of the Elite Monsters, capable of changing the environment and making their own territory. Heralds, they are the bringers of change, the prelude to something more, and Blair will have to defeat them to grow stronger and establish herself in the New World.

After all, a world that has been meddled with by outside forces is anything but simple.

Desperately needs an Editor.

I was hoping that the iffy language choices from the first book would improve. It was worse in sections. The second installment also suffered from pacing issues. Power scaling issues. Linear progression issues. This series desperately needs an Editor. Uncertain if I would listen to a 3rd book. Narration was good. No Idea how the narrator managed to read some of that without trying to edit on the fly.
