Very thorough

Good narration, but due to historical detail, it is hard to follow for long periods of time in an audio format

Should be called "Heroes of Christendom"

This book addresses only European / Western history. Nothing about Asia, Africa, the Americas, very little about the Middle East (only an afterthought).

It's an old fashioned Western-centric view of the history of civilization. This was my first time reading Will Durant, I'm pretty disappointed considering his great reputation.

The narrator did a great job though.
