Story
Creator, mother, lover, and social media phenomenon Tova Leigh explores what the hell you are supposed to do when you find yourself living a life you don't remember signing up for. I was bored, angry, tired, and sad. I felt all alone yet I had nothing to complain about. I had a good job, a husband who wasn't shagging his assistant, three children who apart from being the occasional a**holes were pretty good kids; a house, a dog, and everything else we are told as little girls we should aspire to. But inside, I was growing restless.

Story
When Kristina Kuzmic started to see signs that her otherwise sunny, resilient teenage son was struggling, she felt sure that a few simple fixes would right the ship. Over the following months, the issues her family faced were more nuanced, complicated, and pervasive than she could've predicted. Not only that, the obligations, ideas, and unrealistic standards she'd unintentionally aborbed from parenting culture and social media made it impossible to ask for help, or even put into action the tools she'd been sure she'd deploy in a crisis.

Publisher's Summary
Delivering inspiration and "parenting comedy at its finest" (The Huffington Post), here is one woman's story of ditching her fairy-tale dreams and falling in love with her unpredictable, chaotic, imperfect life.
Kristina Kuzmic has made herself a household name, speaking directly to mothers from the trenches of parenthood via her viral videos and social media presence. She is now bringing her message of self-acceptance, resilience, and joy to audiobook listeners. With a refreshingly unpretentious, funny, and galvanizing voice, Kuzmic goes behind the scenes to reveal how she went from broke and defeated to unshakably grounded and brimming with thankfulness.
Illuminating the hard-won wisdom from a life always spent one step behind - whether it was as a high school student new to America, a suddenly single mother to two kids, remarried and juggling two teens and a toddler, or the unexpected recipient of Oprah's attention and investment - Hold On, But Don't Hold Still is the audiobook every mother needs to reassure her that she's not only fine just as she is, but that she already has more tools and support than she can possibly imagine. Sparkling with wit, this heartfelt memoir is like a long coffee date with a best friend, or the 11th-hour text message that gives you just the boost you need to get through the night.
A Viking Life title

Everything I had hoped for
This book was the perfect combination of laughter and tears. It was like spending time talking about the deep stuff with a friend. I am thankful I bought it on Audible because Kristina is so real when she reads it. I would occasionally smile and finish her sentences. At one point I feel like she was crying. Overall, this book is everything a fan of Kristina could hope for.

100/10 would recommend
I’ve never felt so seen, or related more to a book. She has a beautiful way of taking life seriously and simultaneously recognizing it’s not that serious. It’s largely about parenting but could easily be applied to any relationship in life. I laughed, I cried, I loved it.

Well worth the listen. Very relatable!
Although much of what Kristina shares may seem like common sense to some, it never hurt to have a friendly reminder or support amid the chaos of life! Also refreshing to hear her take on some ways she instills inspiration, kindness, forgiveness, love, and life in general with her kids.

A must read:authentic and funny
This book very gave me hope in my own capacity to not only change what isn't working but to see I am good enough. To take it one day at time and to be proud regardless of the difficult circumstances I am in because circumtance do and will change.
But at the end of the day I am going to be ok as a mother just the way I am .
