God… the narration is so so bad .. an ok story development

Why Simon has a French accent?
Why Gemma is Australian with a very high pitch to the point it forces the listener to lower the volume every time she is expressing the tiniest emotion?
And why the Dr. Is British…?!

Of course the story got the potential to be so much better if the writer did not focus solely on the series of unfortunate events that keep on happening to the FMC and leave the main plot which is the relationship between Gemma & Simon as a side note..

Cool story, okay narration

I think overall the narration was okay but I didn't really like the accents she gave to the main characters. They sounded very odd and slow. I had to set the reading speed at 1.25x to make it better to my ears.

As for the story, it was interesting but ended so abruptly. Where is the happy ending? It's just let out in the open; an epilogue would've been nice.
