In September 2001, Jeff Immelt replaced the most famous CEO in history, Jack Welch, at the helm of General Electric. You don’t know the story until you hear both sides

Disclaimer: I started my career at GE and left within months after Jeff retired. I was saddened to leave a company I was proud to be part of and always wanted to know what Jeff had to say. This book has about 2/3 GE history and 1/3 leadership lessons. The book feels very real but at some point the content details may feel a bit irrelevant for non-GE staff or alumni. I personally loved it given that I also saw a partial story from my angle.
