When I released my book How to Get a Man to Cherish You...If You're His Wife, I got a lot of similar feedback based off the title:
- "I don't wanna make anybody do anything they don't want to do!"
- "He should already cherish me. If he doesn't, then I don't want to make him...."
- "I shouldn't have to work to make any man love me!"
- "I'm not married."
- And many more similar-sounding replies....
But that's not at all what the book is about. As a matter of fact, it's the complete opposite.
Everything that the book suggests is to make him fall deeper in love with you - meaning a man who already likes or loves you. But you want that deep, long-lasting connection that helps relationships last 10 or 20 years.
According to research and actual couples I've coached or known personally, it helps get them through times that break most relationships. Think of cheating, long distance, communication issues, crazy exes, baby mama drama, etc. All the usual factors.
Okay. Ready for the five ways?
I pulled five chapters from the book:
Chapter one: Getting him to open up to you so that you can know him better than anybody.
Chapter two: Being mindful of how you speak to your better half and how it will get you more of what you want out of him. The easy way.
Chapter three: Using your feminine energy and the importance of interdependence within a relationship and how it'll affect the longevity of a couple, and using it to get get him to depend on you, which makes you irreplaceable (nothing to do with sex. Get your mind out the gutter!)
Chapter five: Submission. Yes, but the true meaning of submission and where it fits into modern-day relationships and why it's vital to the longevity of a relationship and, eventually, marriage.
Chapter six: The one thing that most women overlook when it comes to their man that is so simple and can be implemented instantly and is responsible for why many men say they cheated (their words, not mine). It's simple but very powerful.

Beathtaking and real
As a young girl I always dreamed for the right man to come along and sweep me off my feet but because of childhood traumas, generational curses and abuse. I fell into an undesirable pattern of being with different men to fulfill the void that was stolen from me. I grew bitter and hated men and in return just married to settle .Not for true compassionate love with the man God had already set for me. I only found out later in my adult years that the man God had for me , I rejected and destroyed because of my insecruries, pain and unhealthy mindsets. However unconsiensly , I constenly prayed for him, his healing, journey and life. I prayed for his heart to be restored. This book enlightened me more , and I believe that its really for women to not do the same mistake I did by being impulsive and not listening to the intuition God planted in me. While reading this book I was feeling a sense that, I wish I knew this when I was young so I started sharing it to all my girls so they can make it right with God's aligned plan . Despite being married God made away with grace because I prayed and cried over 10yrs for his mercy in my marriage. But if I only, took the time to pray, fast before hand and LISTEN to God's plan things would have been different. I am not regretting here but I'm reflecting. Thank you Stephen L., I really appreciate you as a soul you are doing God's will in restoring relationships for the better Good of our confused society and that is God's pure love. Continue in your mission and praying that you set captives free with the power of God's inspiration, wisdom and truth flowing through your mouth and writing. Thank you may you be bless, thank you for blessing me with this book.

not for me
I have listened to quite a few relationship books... this one was definitely NOT for me... I don't think it belongs in 2024 honestly
