About the author:
Brendan O’Brien spent three decades as a police officer in The Cheshire Constabulary, Bermuda Police and in Greater Manchester Police, where he retired as an inspector (that’s Brendan on the front cover with the red epaulettes!). During that time he served in a range of roles: Response, Staff Officer, Detective, Custody Officer, Specialist Training, Special Branch, Neighbourhood Inspector, and HQ Change Branch.
Since retiring, Brendan has continued to serve through his business, Bluelight Consultancy, as: An approved provider to deliver qualifications from The College of Policing; an international advisory board member for European Union Community Policing projects and as an associate in The College of Policing’s Organisational Development Unit.
