About this listen
This book was written for the purpose of educating the public on what I consider to be a little-known understanding. It is not that I have written things that have never been heard before. I have endeavored to take the approach that could be most received by scholars and the public at large by using quotes from established historical figures such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and James Baldwin, among others. By this, I have, to the best of my ability, followed the line of established and accepted truth. What makes this book different is that I use the Bible to directly address the present-day issues, showing that what has been taking place has all been accounted for prophetically, and therefore we can know where we are in time and what we should do.
Not only do I use the Bible (many do)—I have done my best to give the solution to a problem that has been spoken of from the founding of this nation. This topic is an ever-present and relevant one in the United States and all over the world. Yet, the solution to the problem, the living reconciliation, has never been fully stated, or implemented on any broad scale. The book validates prophecy that has been buried under misunderstanding and abuses. It educates us on how the sensitive, controversial, and never-reconciled Black/White issue should be viewed and handled so as not to abuse anyone or to perpetuate oppression. The book takes the position that once this issue is reconciled, all similar issues are simultaneously addressed. All ethnicities are acknowledged. All oppression ceases.

Story
With the depression bearing down on her family, there isn't much that Cassie Logan can count on anymore. But there is one thing that hasn't changed - the whispering trees outside her window. Cassie's trees, which have stood for centuries, are a great source of comfort to her. But they are also worth a lot of money. With Cassie's daddy gone to lay tracks for the railroad, it seems like no one can stop Mr. Andersen from forcing Big Ma to sell their valuable trees. How can Cassie sit by and watch them disappear?

Experience a bold take on this classic autobiography as it’s performed by Oscar-nominated Laurence Fishburne. In this searing classic autobiography, originally published in 1965, Malcolm X, the Muslim leader, firebrand, and Black empowerment activist, tells the extraordinary story of his life and the growth of the Human Rights movement. His fascinating perspective on the lies and limitations of the American dream and the inherent racism in a society that denies its non-White citizens the opportunity to dream, gives extraordinary insight into the most urgent issues of our own time.

Worth multiple Credits!
This is a JEWEL!! This should be added to every educational classroom claiming to teach history! The narration is so very good it makes for an easy and interesting listen. I love that it has the original recorded voices of some of the quotes used. (such as Martin Luther King) I bought the physical book as well. Just a work of ART and WISDOM! Thank God!
