There are 168 hours in a week. This book is about where the time really goes, and how we can all use it better. It's an unquestioned truth of modern life: we are starved for time. With the rise of two-income families, extreme jobs, and 24/7 connectivity, life is so frenzied we can barely find time to breathe. Do you find yourself hoping that someday, life will be less hectic? One day, you say, you’ll finally have time for the activities that you love–writing that book, completing that triathlon, traveling with friends. But if the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that life is unpredictable. If we’re not careful, dull, unfulfilling tasks can quickly occupy our precious hours, derail our best-laid plans, and make life feel like a slog.

Useful Info for the Busy Professional
While it speaks to women with children, I found it relevant as a single woman without children. The research discussed is interesting and there are some great time management and life enjoyment tips.

Another great book for Laura V.
I really enjoy Laura’s books. You would think books about time management could be boring but I thoroughly enjoy these true tales of high functioning women who make it all work.
As someone who has often felt I have had to choose between career and family, listening to books like this validate my feelings that I don’t. Lots of women do both and they do it well.
