This is the third Anna Pigeon book I’ve listened to. I thoroughly enjoyed the first and second book. This book however was a challenge to finish. So many times I thought I would just give up. The audio for at least the first half was terrible. The sound level would switch from normal to loud to a whisper (or something so mumbled that I couldn’t discern what was being said). It was necessary for me to scroll back so many times for this book. Also, this might just be me, but I was having trouble figuring out the many characters in this book. Even though this is a negative review, I will take my chances on continuing with the Anna Pigeon series.
