About this listen

Amazon best-seller Wendy K. Williamson shows the effects of bipolar disorder on the mind, body and soul of those who suffer from it. Despite Wendy's struggles, this is a not a book that brings the listener down, rather a road map for wellness and a vastly informative, yet entertaining, guided tour of bipolar disorder for those who don't understand it. With her perceptive self-awareness, the author is equal parts comedienne and educator, and she tells the unbelievable highs and lows of her story with a clear, grounded candor.

Amazing book

I suffer from bipolar and I’ve spent so many days looking for something that I could relate too and this book is definitely what I have been looking for. I was hesitant at first but I’m glad I gave it a chance. 100% worth it.

Chronological story with little emotion

The author has clearly struggled and injured a lot of pain. As a novel, it was rather hum drum. While she detailed the accounts of her experiences there was a little emotional invitation to the reader. By half way through the book I felt like I was reading a laundry list of things done while manic or depressed. For me, the book lacked an emotional appeal and felt quite un-engaging; even boring at times.
