Loved it until I found out it was all a dream.
I rated this 5 stars before I started part 2 and found out it was all a dream. I feel robbed now because all the characters except a few from this part meant nothing and the main characters in part 2 have to start over. I understand the idea but reducing everything that happened to a dream just feels wrong after investing in them from part 1. Even though it's just a story and isn't real anyways. I have to say I am still interested in part 2 just to see how things play out but part 1 just feels like a waste of time almost. Maybe if part 1 wasen't so different or had me invested in so many other characters I would have liked the twist more. I get part 1 can be a stand-alone book if you ignore part 2 but I just feel like part 2 ruins most of the first except that it it sets up the part 2 twist. If I knew before hand I would not have purchased this series even though I enjoyed part 1 a lot. If you like or don't mind the part 2 twist then I would recommend this story.
