Amazing Story of Survival
This story was difficult to hear, and my heart broke for Anna and her situation. The author has woven a riveting first person narrative. She is so brave to share. I have learned through her story to be observant and ask questions when something doesn’t look quite right. Thank you for sharing your story.

beautifully written and emotional
I first heard of this book as I came across the authors tik tok page and immediately wanted to know more about her story and to support her. I want to commend the author in having the bravery to tell her story and spread awareness for SA as it is unfortunately more common as most people are aware of. You can hear the growth of her strength within the words as her story goes on and this gives me hope that those who have had similar experience can see this and gain the courage to come out and tell their stories as well. thank you so much.

great book
great book highly don't recommend reading in public however because it is quite graphic in some parts my neighbour thought that I was listening to something sexural

I couldn't stop listening to this book!
I stumbled across her tiktok and decided to give it a try When! When I started listening to the audio book I thought maybe I wont like this. With in the first few minutes I was hooked. It is sad what she went thru but it was very well written. I would highly recommend this book.

Intense story that kept you wanting more
This was an intense book, I wanted to smack Anna at times during the book but she did a wonderful job writing this story. I wanted more each time it was hard to stop listening to the audiobook. Thank you Anna for sharing your brave story with us.

I cried the whole way through
the story in itself is insanely sad and traumatic. amazing storytelling by the reader.

The annoying tone of the narrator
Narration too monotone and fast lacking expression. I did not like the story or the juvenile way she blamed her mother for everything
