About this listen

#1 WORLDWIDE BESTSELLER • Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon awakens in an Italian hospital, disoriented and with no recollection of the past thirty-six hours, including the origin of the macabre object hidden in his belongings.

“One hell of a good read.... As close as a book can come to a summertime cinematic blockbuster.” —
USA Today

“A diverting thriller.” —
Entertainment Weekly

With a relentless female assassin trailing them through Florence, he and his resourceful doctor, Sienna Brooks, are forced to flee.

Embarking on a harrowing journey, they must unravel a series of codes, which are the work of a brilliant scientist whose obsession with the end of the world is matched only by his passion for one of the most influential masterpieces ever written, Dante Alighieri's The Inferno.

Dan Brown has raised the bar yet again, combining classical Italian art, history, and literature with cutting-edge science in this captivating thriller.

as good as any other Dan Brown book.

just like every other Dan Brown book, it keeps you in it. The narration is perfect and the story flows. for pseudo intellectualism, it is fun.

Great continuation of the series!

This started out a bit slower than the others in the series, but had so many twists and turns which lead me to wish I was so much more invested!! Loved it and will absolutely continue this series and is something I look forward to revisiting! 10/10 would recommended!

Wow. Eye and mind opening.

I liked the fact that this book draws you in and causes you to reflect on where life is going. Things we take for granted and our inaction to get involved for change.
I would recommend this book to everyone who’s willing to be challenged or remove the blinders from their minds.

Amazing, as always!

Another incredible addition to the Robert Langdon series!
Not only does it keep your interest throughout the entirety of the novel but often pulls you back to reality by making you think about the world around us.

Astounding!

Paul Michael read this book like an amazing action movie! I would catch myself stopping my work to listen intently as the action would rise, gasping as new scenes unfolded in a beautiful narrative of mystery and intrigue!!!

What an amazing book like the readers voice too!

I'm not a history or art buff yet am interested heavily in both. this book kept my attention and made me really think about art imitating life or in this books case death and the afterlife. I loved learning more about Dante and the divine comedy. I was so interested in the description in this book to. the story was full of twists turns and surprises. what an intense story about the crisis of overpopulation,it really makes you think about our future as despite this being a book, they are not wrong or off about overpop issue...
