Now Al is forced to play detective - while avoiding actual detectives who are wondering why death seems to always follow Al. Investigating his apprentice’s death will take him through Scotland’s magical underworld, and he’ll need the help of a mischievous hobgoblin if he’s to survive.

Already pre-ordered the next book!
I’ve enjoyed all of the Kevin Hearne books I’ve listened to. Luke Daniels is a fantastic narrator. The writing and narration just pulls you right into the book.

That’s one talented narrator!
The story is full of suspense, action, and humor - Hearne’s specialty. The narrator was AMAZING; seamlessly switching between the many accents, including a British computer voice that mispronounces Fae names, and making this novel an absolute joy to listen to.

Great story in an existing world
Same world as the Iron Druid which all books I have read. Having a new series in that world is amazing. Luke Daniel's is an amazing narrator

An exciting spinoff
The book was a lovely combination of comfortable familiarity and exciting novelty. The world that Kevin created in his Iron Druid Chronicles series is one that is rich with potential spinoffs. In Ink & Sigil, he broaden the perspective beyond that of druids. The new characters are a delight and the various cameos of characters from ICD were wonderfully amusing. I hope we get many more books following the adventures of Al and his friends.
And luckily, we have Luke as the narrator. He is of course brilliant.

I’m hoping there are more coming
Mr Hearne never fails to deliver a great storey, And Luke Daniels sets a very high bar with his performance.

the first paragraph of the book reaffirms the belief that you NEVER want to be Nigel in Toronto. seriously listen to this book. coriander is in it!

A long awaited return to this world!
It took a few moments to build up my enthusiasm, but I am glad I stuck around until the characters took shape and grabbed my heart. I'm eager to listen to the next book!

Luke Daniel's crushes the narration as usual!
