Entertaining as well as thought provoking
A wonderful debut novel. There was nonstop action. I loved the character development, as well as the increasing understanding about Christianity - it’s not about relics, but rather, trust in God. A miracle-working God who has a plan - not a genie who grants one’s wishes. I appreciated the grittiness - God can call us to hard tasks, which might or might not have a happy ending (from an earthly perspective). This is definitely for adults s there are some dark themes and violence - but nothing is explicit. I listened to the audiobook, and the author did a fabulous job.
